THE HAIR LOSS SOLUTIONS AND SMP SCALP TATTOO CLINIC

Hair loss is something that many people experience. Both men and women can experience hair thinning and loss for a variety of reasons. Hair loss can be a sensitive subject for many people, and it’s easy to feel self-conscious or embarrassed about your appearance when hair loss starts. There are numerous options to prevent and reverse hair loss and improve hair and scalp health including In-clinic and home care treatments.

Hair loss has to do with your hair follicles, which are little tubes within your skin that surround the root and strand of each hair on your body. Sometimes, hair loss is caused by permanent damage to the hair follicle. More often though, hair loss is nonscarring, which means that the follicles haven’t been harmed.

Types of hair loss include:

  • Androgenic alopecia, the most common type of hair loss, is a type of hereditary (inherited) baldness that can affect anyone. It includes male pattern baldness and female pattern baldness.

  • Alopecia areata is an autoimmune disease that causes you to lose the hair on your head and body.

  • Anagen effluvium is rapid hair loss that happens from medical treatments like chemotherapy.

  • Telogen effluvium, or excessive hair shedding, is the result of stress, illness or sudden hormonal changes, including pregnancy.

  • Traction alopecia happens when you wear your hair in tight hairstyles repeatedly and for long periods of time, damaging your hair follicles.

  • Hair loss due to trauma can come from burns and other injuries that cause scarring.

The type of hair loss you have will determine which treatments are available to you. You usually recommend in-clinic and home care for optimal results. Scalp issues can also lead to hair loss and our aim is to address the scalp and hair follicles for best results.

There are many different treatments for hair loss available today ranging from topical and oral medications, shampoos and serums—most of which are packed with topical Minoxidil (the only FDA-approved drug known to combat both male and female pattern baldness) Finasteride or Rogaine are often the first line of defense, but there are other options, like Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) injections, Lower Level Laser Therapy (LLT)  and hair serums that are injected into the scalp.

We offer hair growth options and guide you with the various options we have available which include PRP, PRF, GFC and a wide range of restorative hair loss treatments. As a trained Trichologist, we are able to offer a wide range of treatments specific to your hair loss at our Hair Clinic. With so many options available, we suggest a phone consultation or book a free no obligation consultation in person.

We only offer our services to a limited number of clients who we believe can benefit from our treatments and who wish to commit to our treatments for 3 to 6 months. We help with advice on supplements, food choices, reducing stress and better sleep. We recommend including our 12 week home care programme in conjunction with your in clinic sessions to ensure you have the best possible outcome.

                                                                                                        We offer the following treatments.

PRP for hair treatment

PLATELET-RICH PLASMA (PRP)
Plasma, is the fluid part of the blood which suspends and carries blood cells and nutrients throughout the body. Platelets are tiny cells in the blood which rush to any site of injury, when bleeding occurs, to plug and form a clot and repair the damage.
Platelets are also known to be a reservoir of growth factors that stimulate tissue recovery by increasing blood flow. They are known to be responsible for stimulating and enhancing hair follicle function.

PLATELET-RICH FIBRIN (PRF)
Platelet-rich fibrin hair treatment is a hair restoration option that involves injecting platelet-rich plasma (PRF) into the scalp to stimulate hair growth, very similar to PRP.
Platelet-rich plasma is a combination of plasma (the liquid portion of blood) and platelets, a type of blood cell that helps with healing throughout the body.  PRF injections can be effective in treating both male and female pattern hair loss and baldness — also known as androgenic alopecia. Can also help stimulate hair regrowth after hair transplants.

This is GFC

Growth Factor Concentrate (GFC)
GFC hair treatment, short for Growth Factor Concentrate hair treatment, is an advanced and gentle procedure created to tackle different hair problems. In this treatment, a small amount of your blood is taken, and the growth factors are separated. These growth factors are then applied to your scalp. They work by waking up your hair follicles, encouraging hair growth, making it thicker, and improving its overall health.

INNO-DERMA HAIR VITAL
Both men and women can suffer from alopecia, but its causes and mechanisms may differ according to sex. For this reason, we propose a gender-specific approach.

We use the INNOAESTHETICS range of in-Clinic treatments including their home care that we recommend to use for the 6 to 8 treatments.

Microneedling

MICRO NEEDLING
Micro needling, also called derma rolling can also stimulate hair growth by jump-starting your skin’s natural healing process.
Micro infusion is another popular procedure that gently stamps tiny needles over the scalp similar to needling. However, unlike micro needling which uses hundreds of non-channeled needles to treat the scalp—followed up with a separate application of serum—micro infusion involves about 20 to 30 hollow needles that deliver nutrients directly into the dermis.

SMP Scalp tattoo

SCALP MICROPIGMENTATION (SMP)
Many men and women experiencing hair loss have found SMP to be the ultimate solution for restoring receding  hairlines, covering thinning or bald patches, camouflaging scars, and simply adding density to thinning hair.  Non-surgical and non-invasive, SMP hair tattoo can help to restore your confidence with a natural-looking,  full head of hair. The procedure is particularly popular amongst those with visible scarring, as well as Alopecia sufferers and people undergoing chemotherapy.
